Jeremy Rifkin: Power To The People

Jeremy Rifkin calls for a "Third Industrial Revolution" that would completely eliminate our dependence on elite energies. The plan makes power companies obsolete by putting green power into the hands of the people (via solar panels, geothermal devices or wind turbines mounted on or around a home or business) to be shared across a grid - much like file sharing networks or the collective principle on which wikipedia works.
